What is The Key Rewards?

The Key Rewards lets members earn 3% back in rewards when shopping across our family of brands, including Williams Sonoma, Williams Sonoma Home, Pottery Barn, PBteen, Pottery Barn Kids, west elm and Mark & Graham. Key Rewards members, known as Key Holders, also get exclusive access to promotions and special events.

Joining the Key Rewards

How do I join the Key?

You can enroll in The Key online, over the phone (1-844-445-7670) or in stores. Simply provide your phone number, first and last name, email address and birth day and month, and then remember to use that registered phone number as your Key every time you check out. JOIN FOR FREE ›

Is a purchase required to join The Key?

The Key is free to join; there is no purchase required to enroll.

I have a credit card with a Williams-Sonoma, Inc. brand. Can I sign up for The Key, too?

Absolutely. Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn and west elm credit card holders are invited to join The Key, and will earn either Key Rewards or Credit Rewards on their transaction. To maximize your earn rate, shop at a brand and use that brand’s credit card. To earn when you shop at our other brands, provide your registered phone number and get 3% back in rewards from The Key. For the sake of clarity, a Key Holder cannot earn both Key Rewards and Credit Rewards on the same transaction. For Terms and Conditions of the brand credit card rewards programs, go to:

How do I earn The Key Rewards?

Every time you shop, let us know you’re a Key Holder by providing your registered phone number at check out.

Where can I earn The Key Rewards?

Key Holders earn 3% back in rewards every time they shop with their registered phone number atWilliams Sonoma, Williams Sonoma Home, Pottery Barn, PBteen, Pottery Barn Kids, west elm and Mark & Graham. Purchases can be made online, over the phone (1-844-445-7670) with our Care Center, or at any store location, including Outlets. At this time, Rejuvenation is not included in The Key. Online and phone purchases will qualify to earn rewards once they have shipped.

Are there any limitations on earning rewards?

Rewards are not earned on taxes, shipping, items fulfilled by third parties (including Williams Sonoma Wine, eGiftcards, Square purchases, installation services, donations, and bag fees) or purchases made with a Williams-Sonoma, Inc. brand credit card, gift card or merchandise card. Bulk gift cards and volume purchases are also not included in The Key. Any purchase, or portion of a purchase, made with a Reward Certificate will not earn rewards. Rewards can currently be earned on U.S. and Puerto Rico purchases only. Orders placed or shipments delivered outside the United States or Puerto Rico are not currently eligible to earn rewards. At this time, Rejuvenation is not included in The Key.

If I forget to provide my phone number when making a purchase, can I still earn rewards on that purchase?

No. At this time, you must provide your registered Key phone number when you make a purchase to earn rewards.

Tracking and Accessing Rewards

How do I check my current rewards balance?

As a Key Holder, you can check your rewards balance in the My Rewards section of a participating Williams-Sonoma, Inc. brand website once you’re signed in. You can also call the Care Center at 1-844-445-7670 or ask a store associate.

What if I lose my Reward Certificate?

If you lose your emailed Reward Certificate, you can always access it online through the Key Rewards Dashboard, at registers in our stores, or through our Care Center. You can use your Reward Certificate until it expires.

Where are my Key Rewards issued before March 20, 2018?

Key Rewards issued before March 20, 2018, aren’t shown in the My Rewards section of a participating Williams-Sonoma, Inc. brand website. Check your email for any certificates from The Key Rewards for certificates issued prior to March 20, 2018.

Where are my brand credit card rewards?

The Key is separate from the brand credit card programs. For more information, visit the credit card website for Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma, or west elm credit card rewards.

Redeeming Rewards

Where are my rewards and when will I get them?

Rewards begin to accrue at the time of in-store purchase or when an item ordered online or through our Care Center ships. When you earn $15 or more in rewards, a certificate will be emailed to you after two weeks, and made available in your Key Rewards Dashboard.

How do I redeem my Reward Certificates?

You can redeem your Reward Certificates online, in participating stores or over the phone. In stores, you can provide your Reward Certificate from your email or mobile wallet, and a store associate will scan it at checkout. To redeem online, enter your Reward Certificate number at checkout. To redeem over the phone, call our Care Center at 1-844-445-7670 and provide your Reward Certificate number.

How long are my reward certificates valid?

Your certificate is valid for 90 days after it is issued. Rewards that have not generated a Rewards Certificate expire after two years of inactivity.

Can I purchase a Gift Card with my certificate?

No, customers are not able to purchase gift cards with Reward Certificates. However, you can earn rewards on any gift cards you purchase. Purchases made with a Williams-Sonoma, Inc. brand gift card are not eligible to earn rewards.

Updating Your Info

How do I update my Key email address or phone number?

Call our Care Center at 1-844-445-7670. Please note that updating your email address or phone number on your Williams-Sonoma, Inc. brand account will not update your Key email address.

Refunds and Transfers

Are rewards refundable?

Yes, rewards are refundable if item(s) purchased with a Reward Certificate are returned within the 90-day certificate expiration window. At the time of the return, the Key Holder will receive a new certificate and any certificate balance will be available the next day on My Key Rewards, at registers in-store at time of purchase, and through our Care Center until the certificate expires. Same-day cancellations purchased with certificates online or as phone orders may not be reflected in your Key Rewards Dashboard for up to 24 hours.

Can I transfer my rewards to another person?

Currently we do not support the transfer of rewards.

Trade Members & Associates

Are members of Williams-Sonoma, Inc’s “To The Trade” program eligible to earn rewards?

Yes! Design professionals enrolled in our “To The Trade” program are eligible to enroll and earn rewards in The Key. However, bulk gift card and volume purchases are not eligible to earn rewards.

Are Williams Sonoma Inc. associates eligible for the Key Rewards Program?

Yes! All associates at participating brands are eligible to enroll in the program.
